Please also note that we are currently
accepting only manuscripts that deal with homeschooling. This is a vast
web site and we may not have cleaned up every page, so you may have read
somewhere on the site that we are accepting other subject areas. But we are
focusing, for at least the rest of 2008 and 2009, on developing our
homeschooling line of books, because that is where we have had the greatest
success.
Be as complete as possible. The information you provide for us here will help us
in promoting your book. Some of the personal information will also be necessary for
cataloging and copyright
registration.
To submit a manuscript, please complete this form first. Then, to
submit your manuscript, please send it as an e-mail attachment sent to
"manuscripts at mapletreepublishing dot com" (use the @ sign and the period in
the actual e-mail address).
We do not accept manuscripts on paper, as our
company works with them on the computer. We edit the
manuscripts by e-mail correspondence, so you will need e-mail capabilities in
order to work with us. And we prefer that the manuscript be in
Microsoft Word format. If not, we can accept WordPerfect or RTF documents.
(Please see our submissions guidelines.) For
fiction, we also want a plot synopsis of a page or two, which you can put in the
body of the e-mail, or as a separate attachment. Your adhering to
these requests simplifies our work. Additionally, if you ignore our guidelines,
we tend to not look at your submissions as favorably. Thank you.
