Kenya’s gift with words were manifest as early as the age
of 2. Her grandmother records how amazed she was when Kenya fabricated and
recited poetry to her at such an early age. In school Kenya’s writing stood a
cut above most normal teenagers. Her high school creative writing teacher gave
out assignments to the class and then told Kenya, she could write whatever she
pleased.
Recently Kenya has returned to the public world of writing.
Besides writing novels, she currently is working for Mapletree Publishing as their fiction acquisitions
editor.
Her latest romantic comedy book,
Love Springs a Leak,
due out in 2006 from Mapletree Publishing Company. It is the hilarious story of
how a young woman and her plumber boyfriend almost didn’t end up together.
Her follow-up book is a serious story about relationships.
She and husband Charlie, currently live in
Meridian, Idaho where her hobbies include crocheting, traveling, and scuba
diving.
